Firm advocates technology to enhance profitability in creative sector

The third edition of The Africa Creative Market (ACM) is poised to highlight the critical role of technology in boosting profitability, job creation, and long-term sustainability within the creative industry. Scheduled for September in Lagos, ACM 3.0 will operate under the theme “Innovation Meets Imagination,” bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders from across Africa and the world. The event, hosted by Ascend Studios Foundation, aims to demonstrate how technology can be leveraged to drive growth in sectors such as fashion, film, music, gaming, animation, and e-sports.

The organizers describe ACM as more than just a marketplace; it is a catalyst for change, promoting sustainable growth, job creation, and socio-economic development throughout the continent. By encouraging a data-driven approach to creative trade, facilitating access to trade finance, and providing African creatives with essential skills and resources, ACM 3.0 aims to unlock the full potential of Africa’s creative economy.

With an expected attendance of over 10,000 guests from 25 countries and 45 leading exhibitors, ACM 3.0 will foster significant cross-cultural dialogues and set new benchmarks for global creative collaboration. The event will feature a variety of activities, including conferences, workshops, and panel discussions, all focused on the application of digital tools and data-driven strategies in creative enterprises.

Building on the successes of previous editions, ACM 3.0 seeks to amplify its impact on the creative economy through enhanced collaborative opportunities, the empowerment of creative entrepreneurs, and a strong emphasis on innovative practices.
