Rescue Enugu APC From anti-democratic Forces, Coalition Begs Ganduje

A group called Civil Society Coalition for translucency, CSCT, history, called on the National Chairman, Umar Ganduje to instantly intermediate and deliver the All Revolutionaries Congress, APC, Enugu State Chapter fromanti-democratic forces before it becom s too late.

The President, CSCT, Hon Mike Femi, made the call while expressing concern over the current situation of the party in the State while pointing outanti-party conditioning allegedly by some party chieftains. Femi also advised that if National Chairman would not come over to Enugu State APC effects will get out of hand, which could negatively affect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reelection in 2027.

He said “ The National Chairman of the All Revolutionaries Congress, APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje should dabble into this extremity rocking the party then in Enugu State before it caused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reelection. “ We’ve observed with consternation an insipidanti-democratic forces trying to orchestrate extremity within the species of the All Revolutionaries Congress( APC) Enugu state chapter. “ The good people of Enugu State, especially members of APC woke on Saturday July 27, 2024 with a crazy news of the suspense of the state president of the Party, The Hon. Ugochukwu H Agballah by a sprinkle of members who were moreover on suspense or facing interdiction.

INEC Urges Parties To Abide By Electoral Guidelines “ The group in a lurid cotillion gathered in a hostel room in Enugu, where a group read a disconnected speech to the effect that Chief Agballah and three others had been suspended. “ The three others according to them included the state Deputy president, Chief Augustine Alumonah; the Treasurer, Jude Aniogbo and the Organizing Secretary, Emeka Eze. The group levied fantastic allegations against the officers of the party. ”

He further said, “ The coming day being Sunday July 28, 2024 the same group declared the the suspended Vice Chairman, Enugu West Senatorial District, Alphonsus Nwafor as the Amusement State Chairman. “ This deceived group rushed to Abuja on a fruitless passage where they wasted one week in the hostel chasing shadow, in a failed attempt to meet the National Chairman of the party, H. E Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje. When their ill- fated charge atrophied, they returned to Enugu dejected. ”

According to the Coalition, the group’s guarantors went ahead to land an exparte order from an Enugu State High Court, “ a most disturbing exparte instruction order restraining Chief Agballah and ten others from serving as officers of the party. ”

The group also said the exparte order was circulated on the social media as well. The Coalition confided and said that, “ It’s gladdening still to note the unknown solidarity and support shown to the State Chairman, Agballah and the three other officers by Ward moderators, Original Government Chairmen, party stakeholders and members, as they snappily met to dismiss the phantom suspense averring that Agballah remained the State Chairman while other officers also remained in their positions. “ The quick intervention of APC South East Zone is relatively estimable for dragging Hon Justice Ezeugwu to the National Judicial Council( NJC) over similar reckless exparte order issued without joining the party or putting it on notice.

“ The party also observed that the Independent National Electoral Commission( INEC) was n’t joined in the suit negative to the Electoral Act 2022. “ We’ve made our independent examinations and come to the same conclusion as indicated by bulging APC members and stakeholders in the state, that what’s passing in Enugu APC is a case of the hand of Esau and voice of Jacob. “ It’s demitasse clear that the dissentients are being subsidized by the Peoples Democratic Party led state government, hence the easy access to the High Court Judge who can put his career in jeopardy to issue similar exparte instruction order!
